This particular expression is crafted from a selection of 150 barrels, specially handpicked by Chris, that were aged using wood seasoned for 150 days. Jackie personally tasted and blended all 150 barrels to create three unique flavor profiles and proof points, highlighting the different taste characteristics of barrels based on their location in the Old Forester barrelhouses. The bourbon is presented in an amber glass bottle, reminiscent of the hand-blown glass used during George's time, and is sealed in a commemorative canister that serves as a keepsake.

Beautiful gold, bigger than anticipated

This is very pretty and matched my gold fixtures well. It is a heavy piece. I was a little surprised because I anticipated it being smaller, however it’s rather substantial.
